Motivate me.

Knowing my topic and having an interest in it motivates me the most when it comes to writing. If a particular subject requires me to do some research that is okay too! I love finding out new things. I love gathering information and trying my best to deliver this information to my audience. If I am passionate about the topic, I will be motivated to get it all done in one or two sittings. When it comes to interesting issues, I have so much to say, and I find it a little harder to decide what stays in and what gets left out. The freedom of choice in writing motivates me to put everything I have into a particular piece.
As a teacher of writing, I have to keep in mind that not all students love to write. That being the case I need to give students a choice in topics and freedom. If I make the subject strict and boring, they will not be motivated to produce writing.
Motivation is critical when it comes to writing. Most students are not motivated due to the tasks that are being asked of them.
